Q: Do I need to book session date ahead of time?
Yes, sessions are by appointment only. Keep in mind that summer is busy time, so book way ahead to book the exact date you want.

Contact us to set up your appointment.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
Personal checks or cash. Deposit for a full amount is required before the session starts. No exceptions.
Q: How much time will the session take?
It depends... Senior Portrait session will usually take 2 to 4 hours with clothing and background changes. When you select a date for your photo session please allow 4 hours to be safe. Simple portrait session takes about an hour.
Q: Where are you located?
We are located in Caledonia, Michigan. About 20 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids.
Q: How many clothes changes is included in the package?
There is no preset limit really. Usually it's 3 to 5. More than that will eat up too much of the session time. Make sure you bring a lot of extra clothing changes for Senior session. We admit, your favorite shirt might be cool, but trust us, you'll want a variety of photos to choose from. Bring clothes you are comfortable wearing, bring clothes you are uncomfortable wearing, bring formal clothing and bring casual clothing. While we want you to be yourself, give us some creative options to help make you look your best.

Don't forget shoes and accessories!
Q: How many poses are included in the package?
There are no preset poses, and no preset limits, except time. We'll do as many frames as necessary to find your good angles and work with your ideas.
Q: How many frames do you take during session?
Simple portrait session might result in 100 frames. 200 to 400 frames is usual number for Senior Pictures session. Split about 50/50 for studio and outdoors. Wedding is usually well over 1000.
Q: How do I select pictures to print?
Shortly after the photo shoot, you'll be invited for picture selection session. At that time we’ll review all the pictures taken, and pick what you want for your package. Every picture in your Portrait Session or Senior Package can be a different frame. You are not limited to numerous copies of same frame in different sizes.
Q: Can you retouch acne / imperfections / braces?
Sure. Small imperfections are included into session fee. There can be an additional fee depending on the amount of work necessary.
Q: Can I order black&white pictures?
Yes. B&W, sepia, soft filter effects are included into session fee.
Q: Can you print my Graduation Party invitations?
Yes! Finest quality, press printed invitations (just like Hallmark cards) are included in Platinum Package (senior pictures), or can be ordered separate. Please refer to Products page to see other products available.
Q: Where do you print pictures?
Your pictures will be printed in a professional photo lab, using chemical process, on Professional Kodak Endura paper, which is superior to anything else in appearance and fade resistance. We do not believe in cutting corners, like using consumer inkjet printers (will fade in few years).
Q: What portrait options are available?
Please refer to Products page to see products and options available.
Q: When will my pictures be ready?
Usually your pictures are ready in two weeks after you made your selection. Wedding packages will take longer, depending on the products selected.

100% satisfaction is guaranteed. If there is ANYTHING you are not happy about - We won't rest until we fix it. For free. If you still don't like your pictures - the 100% of money will be returned to you. That said, so far there wasn't of single case of unhappiness in my whole career!
Q: How many people can I bring along?
Anybody under 18 should be accompanied by at least one parent. No exceptions. For those over 18, you still can bring along a spouse or a friend. For senior pictures - please keep your party to no more than YOU + PARENT(s). Generally, please avoid bringing along extra friends or relatives. It'll be distracting for you and boring for them. We don't have space to fit big waiting company, so they'll have to wait outside.
